DeafBlind 2025 Summer Picnic

WHEN:     Saturday, June 28, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM – Rain or Shine

WHERE:  Christ the King Deaf Church picnic pavilion, side lot.

730 South New Street, West Chester, PA  19382.  The church is located across the street from West Chester University and near Rt 202 & Rt 100, Rt 322 & Rt 1, and Rt 52.

WHO’S INVITED:  DeafBlind and SSPs only.  DB folks can bring one friend/family guest who is not a volunteer or SSP. Please RSVP by replying (scottmstoffel@yahoo.com) or Bill Lockard (484-477-6489) by June 26, 2025.  THIS IS IMPORTANT!

COST:  $5 per person

FOOD:  Hamburgers & hot dogs will be provided and cooked on site.  If you would like to contribute a side dish, dessert, or nonalcoholic beverage, let us know what you want to bring.

SEATING:  There are picnic tables and benches under the pavilion. If you can bring some folding chairs, let us know. Playground next to pavilion.

SPECIAL ACTIVITY:  Before lunch, an anthropologist will present some artifacts from his collection and allow people to touch them. Items include ancient clothing and tools.
