Most of our staff are vaccinated and are excited to return to our weekly in classroom skills and immigrant/refugee classes in the near future and resume our prison visits when allowed. We will be starting DeafBlind services back up as quickly as both SSPs and DBs are comfortable.

A national planning committee selected Lancaster’s beautiful Ware Center as the location for the First World Deaf Refugee/Immigrant Conference June 10-13 (WDRD.ORG) with participants from more than 20 different countries. One of the main reasons for selecting Lancaster is the large relocation of Deaf Bhutanese to S Central PA and our new services to their communities in both Harrisburg and Lancaster.
